Walter Villatora FAIM, Managing Director

Walter Villatora has 30 years management experience in global markets and is a Fellow of Institute of Managers and Leaders. An advisor to senior government officials, a venture capital and innovation specialist, Walter’s areas of expertise include corporate governance, performance management, strategic planning and implementation, training and development, people and change management, operational execution, sales, marketing, government relations, administration and process improvement.

Walter’s national and international experience traverses the industries of information and communications technology (ICT), finance, media, software development, biometrics, health, automotive, property, logistics and government ranging from publicly listed companies to small business including his extensive interest in start-up organisations and the mentoring of business leaders and entrepreneurs.

His former positions include Director of Corporate and Government at AAPT Limited, Managing Director of Netherlands-based European Auto Sales, General Manager of Primus Telecom, Director of Business Development for Syrinx Speech Systems, Advisory Board Member of Allygroup (legal consultancy), Executive Chairman of leading software development company HealthVue, and General Manager of the Bluearth Institute, an NGO focusing on addressing the health of primary school children throughout Australia.

A member of Telstra Corporation’s Corporate and Government management team for seven years, Walter was responsible for the company’s transition from a technology focus to a consultative client model in response to the deregulation of the Australian Telecommunications market.

Walter’s present positions include Managing Director of corporate and government advisory firm, the Outcome Group and advisory board member of The Dental Truck, a not-for-profit organisation with the mission of delivering comprehensive dental services to disadvantaged communities restoring health, self-esteem and dignity and Echo Economics which promotes financial and economic literacy through schools.

Walter possesses extensive political experience in the three levels of government in Australia. He has been an advisor to a Prime Minister, Premier and Mayor of a major council.

Walter and his family place great emphasis in giving back to the community and support Westmead Children’s Hospital and Bear Cottage, the Salvation Army, the Make a Wish Foundation, Veteran’s Affairs, the Bluearth Foundation, Surf Life Saving and the Fair Business Initiative.

Walter’s life-long passion for sport has included playing rugby union, rugby league, soccer, basketball, water polo and surfing. He attained Level 2 coaching qualifications with the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation, and Level 1 Sports Trainer’s qualifications with the Australian Sports Medicine Federation.

Walter is married to Zuzana, a civil engineer and early childhood educator; they have an fifteen-year-old daughter named Jessica.

Sasha Grebe GAICD, Senior Associate

A senior government and corporate adviser with over 20 years’ experience in the successful development and implementation of corporate vision and strategy.

Sasha is one Australia’s most experienced and respected government relations professionals. He has worked on some of Australia’s largest and most contentious policy and political issues, including working for the former Prime Minister when he was Federal Treasurer, managing the national review of Australia's taxation system.

Sasha’s clients include BP, Ausgrid, peak bodies for Australia's superannuation and private health insurance industries, the hydrogen industry, renewable energy, electricity and transmission and climate change.
